Automating New Hire Onboarding with GoHighLevel, Google Sheets, and n8n

The Challenge

Our client needed a way to:

The Solution: n8n-Powered Automation

Hike Brading built a custom workflow that connects GoHighLevel forms with Google Sheets using n8n automations. Here’s how it works: 

  1. Custom Form in GoHighLevel
    A new hire form was created inside GoHighLevel to capture key employee details like name, email, phone, and role. 
  1. Webhook Trigger
    Upon submission, the form triggers a webhook configured in GoHighLevel. 
  1. n8n Workflow
    The webhook sends the data to an n8n workflow. Using an n8n custom integration, the workflow parses and validates the data. 
  1. Google Sheets Logging
    The data is automatically mapped into a structured Google Sheet, creating a centralized hub for HR records. 
  1. Validation & Formatting
    Built-in data validation ensures consistency, while formatting keeps the sheet easy to read and manage.
